Winemaker dinner: Cantina Sorelle Ferrandi

The Ferrandi sisters, Lucia, Marta and Giulia, make wine in the hills above Alba, on land their grandfather planted to Nebbiolo in the 1960s. Marta comes to Savannah to pour six wines, from a crisp Arneis to a Barbaresco, with a five-course dinner built around the flavors of a Piedmont winter.

The menu

Handmade agnolotti with butter and sage, braised beef cheek with polenta, a salad of bitter greens and hazelnuts, a plate of aged Piemontese cheeses, and a bonet, the chocolate and amaretti custard of the Langhe.

Good to know

$110 a person covers five courses and six pours; tax and service are not included. Seating is at shared tables, with a table of your own for parties of four. Vegetarian menus are available with a few days’ notice. You can cancel online up to a day ahead.
