Accessibility
We want everyone to be able to use this website and to enjoy a night at Linen.
Our website
This site is built with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, level AA, in mind, and it’s checked for common accessibility problems each time it’s updated. Pages work with screen readers and keyboards, text can be zoomed, colors are checked for contrast, and photos have descriptions. Our menus and wine list are text, not pictures, so a screen reader can read every dish and every wine.
Getting in
The front door at 42 Barnard Lane is step-free, with a flat threshold and a door that opens 36 inches wide. The bar and dining room are on one level, and the restroom is single-occupancy, step-free and has grab bars. The courtyard is reached by a short ramp and has a smooth path, though the stone paving is uneven in places. The Back Room has a 36-inch doorway and no steps.
Seating
Tell us when you reserve if you’d like a table with an easy path, a chair without arms, or a quieter corner. The bar has stools with backs, and the dining room has tables that a wheelchair can pull up to. Weeknights before 7 pm are the quietest. Service animals are always welcome, anywhere in the restaurant.
Menus and wine
Large-print menus and wine lists are at the host stand on request. If you’d rather have the menu read to you, your server will do it, and Camille is happy to describe wines by taste and style instead of by name.
Allergies and dietary needs
The menu marks vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free and dairy-free dishes, and the kitchen will adjust most plates. Please tell us when you reserve, and again to your server.
